General Questions

Wilson’s Tree Services cover all aspects of tree removal. We specialise in the treatment of pest and disease, corrective pruning, land clearing, thinning and crown raising of canopies and hazardous tree removal. Our services range from weight and deadwood removal on larger trees, right through to pruning smaller fruit trees and hedges.

Safety is of the utmost importance here at Wilson’s Tree Services. We consistently and routinely inspect all of our gear and equipment. We create an in-house team safety management plan specifically for each job that we undertake. We strive to continuously grow our industry education and to ensure that we are always up to date with the latest safety processes and information.

This is a common question that we get here at Wilson’s Tree Services. Unless it is to keep habitat, or if the tree poses a danger to its surroundings, we will work with you to come up with an alternative option. Trees are able to be reduced back to sufficient growth points and to be reduced in size over time. We will always endeavor to provide a broad range of safe options when it comes to our client’s trees. A happy client and a happy tree are our main end goals!

Wilson’s Tree Services currently operate with a 2T Excavator. Our Excavator is equipped with tree grabs to handle materials and provide an efficient clean-up for larger sites. We have a large Bandit 1590XP Woodchipper and a Bandit 90XP Woodchipper. These Chippers are paired up with either our Hino Dutro Hi-Ab Truck, or our Hino FC 450 Mulch Tipper Truck.

Yes, we are. We provide a copy of our current insurance certificate with all of our quotes, to ensure that our clients have full peace of mind when it comes to their property and the job at hand. Our team here at Wilson’s Tree Services are very passionate about Arboriculture. We pride ourselves in growing and keeping our industry knowledge up to date with the latest education. Kyle holds a Certificate III in Arboriculture, and Greg holds a Certificate II in Arboriculture.

Every tree is individual in its own way and means that we inspect and access each tree and each job individually. This allows us to create a specific management plan to ensure the best and safest end result. Our team visually inspects each tree prior to completing any work. Our team are always on the lookout for Native habitat. We retain hollows where possible and if required, re-locate any Native habitat that isn’t able to be retained in the original location.
